Clinic Website Thailand: What Gets Bookings, What It Costs

A clinic website in Thailand gets bookings when a patient can see, on a phone and in under a minute, who the doctors are, which treatments you offer at roughly what price, where you are, and how to book on LINE or by phone. In Thailand it also has to follow the rules for advertising a medical facility, because your website counts as advertising. A starter clinic site from a Thai agency starts around ฿19,900 to ฿25,900 one-off; our template-based clinic website is ฿29,995 and our Pro site with doctors and treatments is ฿49,995, both excl. VAT. This guide covers beauty and aesthetic clinics as well as medical and dental clinics: what to put on which page, what the rules mean for your content, how the booking flow should work and how to choose.
What patients check before they book
Whether it is Botox, a scaling or a check-up, patients compare clinics online before they message one. Your Facebook page and Instagram show your mood; your website is where they check the facts. These are the questions your site has to answer:
- Who will treat me? The doctors and dentists by name, with photo, specialty, licence and the days they are in. Patients in Thailand can look up any doctor on the Medical Council's free check at tmc.or.th, which shows licence status and registered specialty, so make sure what you write matches.
- Do you do my treatment, and what does it cost? A page per treatment, with what it involves, how long it takes, recovery, and a price range.
- Can I trust you? Your licence, real photos of the clinic and equipment, and reviews (more on the rules for those below).
- Where are you and when are you open? Map, parking, nearest BTS or MRT, opening hours.
- How do I book? A LINE button, click-to-call and a short form, visible on every page.
- Can I read it in my language? Thai and English at a minimum. Clinics with many foreign patients add the language those patients read, such as Chinese, Japanese or Arabic.
What the Thai rules mean for your website
This is where clinic websites differ from a restaurant or hotel site. We are not lawyers, so treat this as a summary of the official sources and check your own case with the authority.
Your website is advertising, and advertising needs approval
Section 38 of the Medical Facilities Act B.E. 2541 forbids advertising a clinic's name, services or the qualifications of its doctors with false, exaggerated or misleading statements. The Ministry of Public Health's rules define advertising to include electronic media and any way of showing text or images to the public for the clinic's benefit, so your website, Facebook page and LINE posts all count. Advertising for a medical facility must be approved before it is published, by the Department of Health Service Support (สบส.) or the provincial public health office (สสจ.), depending on where your clinic is licensed. Plan the approval into your launch date, and check the current rules and timeline with สบส. or your provincial office before you publish.
What you cannot say or show
The examples below come from the department's guidance on clinic advertising, where claims like these have been treated as violations. Rules and their interpretation can change, so check the current rules with สบส. before publishing. The points that matter most for a website:
- No superlatives or guarantees: no "best", "better than", "first", "guaranteed results" or "100%".
- No misleading before-and-after comparisons. In the manual's own example of a clinic website, before-and-after photos were one of four points counted as a violation. Our advice: leave them off unless your approval explicitly covers them.
- No price-cut advertising for treatments, except narrow cases such as discounts for members of a specific group. "Was ฿49,000, now ฿19,900" was another violation in that same example.
- No "free" treatment without prior approval.
- Don't advertise what your doctors are not certified for, and only call something a specialist service if a specialist is there on the days you state.
- Price ranges, not just "from": the department's committee decided that a starting price needs an end price too.
- Patients in your content need their written consent.
- English and Chinese pages count too: foreign-language ad text is submitted with a certified Thai translation.
Patient data and PDPA
Under section 26 of Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, information about treatment and health is sensitive data, which as a rule needs the patient's explicit consent. For your website that means: keep the booking form to name, phone or LINE ID, the treatment they are interested in and a preferred date; don't ask for medical history on a public form; publish a privacy notice; and never post a patient's photo or story without written consent.
What to put on which page
| Page | What goes on it | Rule to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Home | What you treat, where you are, LINE and call buttons, opening hours, licence number | No "best clinic in Bangkok" style claims |
| Doctors | Name, photo, specialty, licence, schedule per doctor | Specialty must match the registration |
| Treatments (one page each) | What it is, who it suits, duration, recovery, price range, FAQ | No guaranteed results; ranges, not only "from" |
| Prices | An overview of price ranges per treatment | No crossed-out prices or discount banners |
| Reviews | Google reviews link or approved, consented testimonials | Written consent; no misleading before-and-after |
| Contact and booking | Map, parking, transport, form, LINE, phone | Minimum data; privacy notice |
| Blog or articles | Answers to the questions patients ask before a treatment | Still advertising if it promotes your clinic |
For an aesthetic clinic, five pages often do it: home, treatments, doctors, prices and contact, with the main treatments as sections. A medical or dental clinic with several doctors and many services usually needs a page per doctor and per treatment group, which is why it takes more pages.
The booking flow: LINE, phone, form or booking tool
Most Thai patients will book the way they already talk to you. Put all routes in the same place on every page, and on a phone keep them fixed at the bottom of the screen.
- LINE Official Account: the first choice for Thai patients. Link the button straight to your LINE OA chat, so your staff can answer and confirm a slot.
- Click-to-call: for older patients and urgent dental pain.
- Short form: for foreign patients who don't use LINE and for requests outside opening hours. Make sure someone answers within the day.
- Online booking tool: worth it once your team spends hours each week on back-and-forth messages. Many Thai clinic systems include online booking; link to it or embed it rather than building your own.
- WhatsApp or WeChat: add one if a large share of your patients come from countries where people use them.
If visitors read your treatment pages but still don't book, the problem is usually doubt, not the button. Our product Signal helps with exactly that moment by answering hesitating visitors; it is a separate subscription.
What a clinic website costs in Thailand
Thai prices for a clinic website fall into four groups. The figures for other providers come from published Thai comparisons; ask for a written quote before you decide.
| Option | Typical price | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thai website builder, do it yourself | From a few thousand to low tens of thousands of baht per year | A very small clinic with time to build it | Limited structure for doctors and treatments; check how you can move out |
| Agency starter package (often WordPress) | About ฿19,900 to ฿25,900 one-off | A simple site with doctors and services pages | Maintenance, edits, extra languages and hosting usually charged separately |
| Managed clinic website service | About ฿5,000 to ฿6,000 per month in one provider's comparison | Clinics that want content handled for them | The monthly fee never stops; check who owns the site |
| Custom design and build | Quoted per project | Clinic groups, hospitals, own booking or patient portal | Longer timelines, clear scope needed |

Our two clinic packages and Care
| Package | For | What you get | Price (excl. VAT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clinic website | Beauty and aesthetic clinics, small dental clinics | Up to 5 pages, built on a tested clinic template and made yours with your logo, colours, texts and photos; Thai and English with a language switch; simple CMS to edit texts, photos, prices and posts; mobile-ready; basic SEO (titles, descriptions, fast loading, sitemap); click-to-call, LINE, map and contact form buttons; one revision round. Live within one week of receiving your content. | ฿29,995 (regular ฿49,995) |
| Pro medical website | Medical and dental clinics with several doctors and services | Everything above, up to 10 pages, with room for doctors and treatments. Live in about two weeks after we receive your content. | ฿49,995 |
| Care plan | Every site | Hosting, SSL, backups, updates and monitoring. 12-month minimum. | ฿1,990 / month |
Both packages come with a money-back guarantee if you're not happy. You can pay upfront with a 10% discount, 50% at the start and 50% at launch, or in 12 monthly payments (10% more in total). More pages, extra languages or custom features such as online booking are quoted separately. You own your domain and your patient list, with no lock-in. By our sum, year one with Care comes to ฿53,875 for the clinic website and ฿73,875 for the Pro site, before VAT. We start only a limited number of new websites per week, and we contact you within one working day of your request.
One thing we don't do is approve your texts. Your clinic is responsible for getting its website texts and claims approved before launch.
How to decide
- One aesthetic clinic, a handful of main treatments, one or two doctors: the ฿29,995 clinic website covers home, treatments, doctors, prices and contact in Thai and English.
- A medical or dental clinic with several doctors, specialties or branches: the Pro site at ฿49,995, so each doctor and treatment group gets its own page.
- Many medical tourists: start with either package and add their language; check that the foreign-language texts are part of your approval.
- A clinic group, hospital or patient portal: a custom project. Tell us what you need and we quote it.
- Already have a site but few bookings? Run the free EngineeringScore audit for speed, SEO, security and accessibility before you rebuild.
Not sure which problems to fix first? Our free website check asks what is costing you bookings (booking fees, foreign patients, not being found on Google or AI, too few bookings) and shows a price and the monthly saving in a few minutes. If you run a hotel or spa as well, read what a hotel website needs to win direct bookings.
Ready for a clinic website that gets bookings?
Pick the clinic website at ฿29,995 for a beauty or aesthetic clinic, the Pro site at ฿49,995 for a medical or dental clinic, or take the website check to see your price first. Send us your logo, texts and photos, and we take it from there.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a clinic website cost in Thailand?
Thai agency starter packages for clinics start around ฿19,900 to ฿25,900 one-off, website builders charge a yearly fee, and managed clinic sites run about ฿5,000 to ฿6,000 a month. Our clinic website is ฿29,995 and our Pro medical site ฿49,995, excl. VAT, plus Care at ฿1,990 a month.
Does my clinic website need approval from สบส.?
Advertising a medical facility needs approval before publication from the Department of Health Service Support or your provincial public health office, and the definition of advertising includes electronic media. Treat your website texts as advertising and include them in your application.
Can I show before-and-after photos on my clinic website?
The rules forbid misleading before-and-after comparisons, and the department's own example of a clinic website counted them as a violation. Leave them off unless your approval explicitly covers them, and always get the patient's written consent.
Can I show treatment prices and promotions?
You can show prices, but the department's committee requires an end price when you show a starting price, so use ranges. Advertising discounts on treatments is not allowed except in narrow cases, so avoid crossed-out prices.
Which languages does a clinic website in Thailand need?
Thai and English at a minimum, which both our packages include. Add the language of your largest group of foreign patients, such as Chinese or Japanese, and remember that foreign-language ad text is submitted with a certified Thai translation.
What is the best way for patients to book through the website?
A LINE OA button for Thai patients, click-to-call, and a short form for foreign patients, visible on every page. Add an online booking tool once messaging takes up hours of staff time each week.
How fast can my clinic website be live?
Our clinic website goes live within one week of receiving your content, the Pro site in about two weeks. Plan time for the advertising approval of your texts before you publish.
